We believe the church is a Christian family - not just a building or an event to turn up to, but a home to belong to. So our aim is to help all of us to come home to God. We're trying our best to be a vibrant part of life on the Chart, a relevant presence for the needs of this world near and far, and an oasis for quiet and reflection. St Peter's is an ancient church dating back to 1180, situated on the High Street, near the heart of Limpsfield village. The church is open all day during daylight hours and welcomes everyone. St Peter's is a member of the Limpsfield & Tatsfield team of churches. Please visit www.stpeterslimpsfield.org for more details including services and ways to join in.

Our main service is at 10am on Sundays, with children's groups. There are refreshments served after every service. On the first Sunday of every month at 10am there is an all-age service with an all-age choir and orchestra. There is also a quieter 8am Holy Communion service every Sunday according to the Book of Common Prayer.

Every Wednesday morning at 11am there is a community coffee morning in the church Millennium Room where anyone is welcome to drop in for a coffee, slice of cake and a chat.

There is a regular Messy Church that takes place in St Peter's Church every Third Sunday of the month from 3pm offering a range of 'Messy' crafts, activities, a short story and song followed by tea and cake.

There are many ways to get involved at St Peter's. There is a regular choir who sing every Sunday and at special services, including an annual service of Choral Evensong at St James' Church Titsey. There is also a committed team of bell ringers who ring half an hour before the 10am service, at special services and at weddings. Visiting bell ringers are always welcome. Our social committee meet regularly to organise a range of events throughout the year for the congregation and community. These include an annual Big Paint, quiz nights, wine tasting and a summer fete.

As well as regular home and study groups that run throughout the year, St Peter's has run its own Alpha course. Anyone, of any age, is welcome along to these sessions that explore the basics of the Christian Faith in an informal way.
